SALESFORCE ECOSYSTEM RESEARCH

Cutting edge research and access to real time data that directly relates to Salesforce companies and careerists is critical for the work we do. Our research interests target understanding this space better.

In order to work with our clients effectively we need to have access to the best information possible. It just so happens that the Salesforce ecosystem is one that hasn’t really been researched – so we have to gather it ourselves!

Why we are interested in studying this space?:

Since Salesforce’s founding in 1999, the industry has experienced exponential growth and through its expansion the system of partnering companies, clients, and talent in this space have too experienced complex change.

In just over 20 years, Salesforce has increased its footprint to be the #1 CRM, to cover the globe with its product offerings, provide a platform enabling over 150,000 companies to drive business results, and through the network of partners provides employment opportunity to well over 200,000 individuals across the world (only approximately 60,000 of which are Salesforce employees directly).

With this type of footprint, it is clear Salesforce is creating an immense amount of opportunity for businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking an exciting career in the cloud technology space. This likely will not change as we continue seeing more demand for comprehensive, creative, technology solutions.

As such, it is our intent to take the pulse of the Salesforce ecosystem where it is today, hoping to capture some of the trends in employment, career development, and company growth / change. This information will help us establish a baseline for people in the Salesforce industry and also verify some assumptions we have from watching this ecosystem grow over the last 20 years and to potentially predict what may happen near term.

What will we do with the information? Simply, we will continue to help Salesforce Partners and Careerists (those working in the ecosystem) be successful. We will also publish some findings to help others in this space and hopefully observe some interesting trends!

The Salesforce Ecosystem Survey for individuals working in the industry, is part of a mixed methods approach we are using to explore the Salesforce space. We are also conducting select interviews with participants who would like to share more about their career development in this space or experience as a Salesforce Partner (Owner / C-suite).

If you feel you could contribute valuable insight to our study and would like to participate in an interview, please email info@thelueckgroup.com.
