The 100,000 Hour Project

100,000 hours is the approximate number of hours the average person will spend at work.

100,000 hours is a lot of a single life. It’s second only to sleep in terms of hours we spend on one thing.

The 100,000 Hour Project was born from the science that supports our absolute belief that what we do with those hours at work matters.

It matters because we enjoy work more and because if we enjoy the work we do, we spread that to other aspects and people in our lives, which means we end up with a happier society as a ripple effect. We also have better places to work if people are more satisfied because they give more to the environment and culture, too.

The 100,000 Hour Project is our mission to empower 100,000 people to take action towards healthier careers, fully owning the choices they make with their 100,000 hours.

We’ll accomplish our mission through consulting, workshops, e-courses, (future books & podcasts), and individual coaching, while also relying on our networks to help us spread the word and hold conversations in this vein beyond our reach!  We’ll also rely on our clients to keep up the great work in their companies and multiply our impact through their great leadership and people-centered companies.

For most professionals, 10% better is well within reach by making some healthy changes. This improvement would make a significant difference in how we feel about work in the day-to-day. For many professionals I work with, 50% or more better is possible.

We’d love for you to join the movement and tell us what you’re doing to improve your career or company health?
